- David F. Lyons died unexpectedly in Highland Park Hospital Sept. 21 at the age of 61.
He was born Jan. 26, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to David F. and Lucille Hoover Lyons.
From 1979 until 1989 Mr. Lyons served on the Wilmette Park District Board.
Mr. Lyons is survived by his wife, Marilyn Cunningham Lyons of Highland Park; children, Aimee (Angelo) Valenti of Skokie, Dan of Chicago and Julie of Chicago; mother, Lucille Lyons of Wheaton; brother Richard (Jill) of Atlanta; sister Marcy Lyons of Chicago; and sister-in-law Patricia (Dennis) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his father David, and his brother, Steven.
