- Daniel L. Simon, 55, of Glenview died suddenly of a stroke Oct. 9 in Evanston Hospital.
Mr. Simon was born Oct. 6, 1950 in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Sandra, nee Kaiser; a daughter, Kelly; a son, Joseph; 3 brothers, Paul (Sue), Larry (Pam) and Michael (Lori); his mother, Jean (née Hayes); his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clare and Nick Kaiser; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nick (Beryl) Kaiser, Rick Kaiser, Phil (Natalie) Kaiser, Lauren (Hugo) Presta and Janine (Gus) Sandoval; and 26 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; and a sister, Elizabeth (the late James) Lee.
A requiem Mass was celebrated last Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Glenview. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery.
