- Mrs. Emeline Newell Howard, 1055 Wilmette avenue, Wilmette, died Friday, January 23. Mrs. Howard, who was born in Hyde Park, Mass., August 14, 1876, was the widow of the late Arthur Henry Howard, former school board president for whom the Howard school is named. Surviving Mrs. Howard are a daughter, Mrs. Frances Brown of Wilmette; two sons, Joseph J. Howard of Chicago and Edward N. Howard of Evanston; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen White and Mrs. Susan Goodnow, both of Evanston.
