- Glenview has organized a first-of-its-kind meeting Sept. 30 to see if the managers of other north Cook and south Lake counties would like to cooperate in providing services to their residents and businesses. The discussion instigated by Glenview has grown to 18 communities including Wilmette and Kenilworth. Committees were identified to look at opportunities of partnering up for services, primarily public works projects.
