Evanston Girl Weds Former Kenilworth Man St. Matthew's church in Evanston was the scene of the wedding of Miss M a r y Louise L a r i m e r , daughter of M r s . Robert S. After Ocotber 1, tl'.ey will be at home in Evanston, Review Will Begin Fall Season for Kentucky Society "On Indian Trails With Daniel Boone" will be the book reviewed by Mrs. Ray Garrett, p r o g r a m chairman, at the opening fall meeting of the Kentucky Society of Evanston and the North Shore September 19, at Barrington Hills Country club. The book describes the four-year trek of Daniel Boone and his family from North Carolina into Kentucky and will be the first in a series of programs on Kentucky history. Other books to be reviewed include "Kentucky Tobacco Patch," by V i r gil Steed, "Roseana M c C o y , " by A l berta H a n m a n , "We'll Sing One Song," by Olive Carruthers, and "Making the A m e r i c a n M i n d , " by R i c h a r d Mosier. Music for the September meeting will follow the Indian theme. M i r i a m Cousins of Evanston will sing a group ot selections. Meet to Plan Benefit for Maternity Center Members of the finance committee of the North Shore auxiliary of Ihe Chicago Maternity center met in the Pump room in town September 4, for luncheon, at the request of M r s . Otto Strohmeier, chairman, to discuss plans for their annual luncheon bridge benefit party in December. The proceeds of the party will be turned over to the Chicago Maternity center for use in aiding and caring for hundreds of mothers-to-be at the dispensary on Maxwell street. At the same time the training received by post-graduate medical students is ct very particular value because all deliveries of babies are made in the mother's home in contrast to a sterile hospital and its conveniences at the doctor's finger tips.
