In celebration of Arts Awareness Month, the village of Wilmette is sponsoring a month-long Community Photography Exhibit, “Tapestry of Travels,” featuring the work of more than a dozen Wilmette photographers during October. People may stop by the North Shore Community Bank, 1145 Wilmette Ave., Wilmette, to enjoy the variety of images. Bank hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Among the participating photographers are Kate Berman, Patricia Berg-Drazin, Rich Fisher, Therese Bach Heyek, Beth Lambrecht, Jan Loew, Linda MacLennan, Peter Nussbaum, Jody O’Connor, Chuck Osgood, Ron Testa, David Velasco, Pat Velasco and Ellie Weisbard.
