E a c h r e t u r n m u s t be i n the hands of the c o l l e c t o r on or before the last d a y of the m o n t h s u c c e e d i n g t h a t for w h i c h the r e t u r n is made. " C o l l e c t o r s of i n t e r n a l revenue have reported that many employers having less t h a n eight employees s t i l l believe t h a t t h e y are not r e q u i r e d to file F o r m S S - 1 a n d p a y the taxes c o v e r e d by that f o r m .
