CE 4-0816 Mothers' Club Dance To Feature Art Works The "Pumpkin Promenade" dinner-dance sponsored by Regina Dominican High School Mothers' Club will feature an exhibit of works by two renowned artists. The event will take place Oct. 29 in the school, 701 Locust Rd., Wilmette. Dinner at 8 p.m. will follow the 6:30 p.m. social hour. Stan Meador's orchestra will play for dancing. Works of Antimo Beneduce and George Bridgman will be shown. A native of Naples, Mr. Beneduce now lives in Chicago and is noted for his water colors which are shown in major galleries in this country and abroad. He has studied at the Cleveland School of Art, the National Academy of Art in New York, and in France and Italy. George Bridgman (1862-1943) was a noted anatomy and figure drawing instructor and author of several difinitive books on the human figure. Many of his anatomy classes were attended by members of the medical profession. Mr. Bridgman's grandson, Chatfield Blakeman of Northbrook, has provided the large works (five by 11 feet) for the exhibit. Students in the school's art department have assisted with decorations for the affair under the supervision of Sister Louis Marie and Sister Marie Martina.
