Miss Ada Pauline Kuhn of Evanston, for several years a teacher in the Glencoe schools, and the Rev. Le Roy Titus Weeks, Ph D. of Newton, Ia., were married June 26, at 8 o'clock in the evening at the home of the bride, 1831 Chicago avenue, Evanston. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. T. P. Frost, pastor of the First Methodost Episcopal church. While Miss Cecil Rigby, cousin of the groom, played Mendelssohn's wedding march, the bridal party came down the stairs: Miss [damaged] Hussey, bridesmaid, and Mr. [damaged] Edward Kuhn brother of the bride, best man, led. Then came Kathryn Margaret Kuhn, the little niece of the bride, who carried a basket of flowers holding the ring. The bride followed on the arm of her brother, Dr. Le Roy Kuhn, M. D. The ring ceremony of the Episcopal liturgy was used. After the ceremony and congratulations, solos were sung by the Misses Maude Cutlor, cousin of the bride, and Alice Hussey. The bride wore a gown of white [damaged] down, with a silk voile drapery and lace. Her tuile veil was [damaged] with rosebuds and she carried a bouquet of roses and [damaged]. The decorations throughout were in white. Many beautiful gifts were presented by the [damaged] friends of the bride. It was a quiet wedding with but [damaged] guests. The future home of Rev. and Mrs. Weeks will be at 1831 Chicago avenue.
