- John and Nancy McGee of McHenry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Johnsburg Community Club.Nancy Stilling and John McGee were married Sept. 9, 1961, at St. Joseph’s Church in Richmond. They have lived in McHenry since their marriage.
They have two sons, Mike (Laura) McGee and Kevin (Karen) McGee.
They have three daughters, Peggy (John) Walding, Kathy (Tom) Nikolai and Julie (Pat) Calcagno.
They also have 12 grandchildren
