Potsey Clark, the new gridiron mentor at Butler, is expected to bring a husky eleven on the Ev~nston invasion a,nd a stiff encounter is in prospect. In John Cavo5ic and Alan "Red" Framuth, the Bulldogs have .two veteran backs who are depended upon to hear the .brunt of the visitors' attack. These two boys will be called on for most of the punting an~ . drop kicking. Other dependable b.a cks are Francis Royse, George Nut£, Harold Temnleton, Clean Reynolds and Hubert ucurley" Hinchman. The latter, a fullhack., is a newcomer to the squad of whom much is expected. .for Class Honors Kaufman and MacLean have advanced to the semi-final~ of the senior class - championship in New Trier's fall tennis tournament. The winners between Rogers and Koretz and Glover and Brown will also be in the Senior semi-finals. Morris, ranking player at Senn High last year, will play the winner of the match between Ludwig and Swa}nicker for the junior championship. · Kavanaugh and Mee will playri for the sophomore · championship Saturday and the champion of the fresh-· men class will be the victor of the match between Hoffman and Shdley. Seven teams are in . the second round of the doubles tourn<tm.e nt now. As the doubles contests are carried on between advisor room5 the names of their advisors are put in parentheses after each team. The teams are:Stanton - Livingston (Nay), Ray Prouty (Nay), Ludwig-Ketlcv (Buck ing-ham), Cohn - Morris (Jackson'), Dickesnon -Giover (Schumacher), Redhead - Milton (¥/alton), Banta - MacLean (Walton).
