Starkel For Library Trustees Every voter who has the best interests of his home and his comm~n ity at heart will support this platform. D J. R. Harper 0 E. G. Bentl~y REMEMBERNo candidate on the opposition ticket, either before his nomination or since, has even suggested any plan or method by which Rats can be kept out of Wilmette. Any candidate who tells you that flats can be kept out of the commercial districts is either ignorant or dishonest. Our present zoning ordinance dearly defines these restrictions. A zoning ordinance which is too restrictive is exceedingly dangerous. It must be reasonable and just otherwise it will not stand in court. Once · it is defeated, the whole Village · would be thrown open to flats. The security of your neighborhood and your home depends now as it never did before on the caliber of the tnen you elect next Tuesday. Experienced, practical men are needed. You will find them on the Community Ticket. The Community Ticket will give you a modern street lighting system at a reasonable cost. It will keep your Village out of the clutches of the Public· Service. The President and Board of Trustees give their services gratis. Heretofore the President was paid $500.00 a year and the n1embers of the Board were paid $3.00 a meeting. The President alone, has given to the Village .$3,500.00 in salary in the last seven years. The Community Ticket has already proved by ACTIONS, not words, that it can and will give a clean, efficient and economical administration. Your vote next Tuesday should put the stamp of approval on this record. I I I ! i I GO TO THE POLLS EARLY. SEE THAT YOUR NEIGHBOR VOTES. REMEMBER THE DATE, TUESDAY, APRIL 15th. ommunity Ticket Campaign Committee By Lyman M. Drake, Chairman . W m. H. Ellis, Secretary
