July 2, 1926 WILMETTE LIF~ 3J Stage ts ed ly, Jt .i and Screen Newa and Reviews VILLAGE THEATRE The perfection · of underworld detail in Harold Lloyd's initial Paramount release, "For Heaven's Sake!", coming to the Village theatre Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 5, 6 and 7, is one of the outstanding features of this new comedy which is being hailed as another genuine achievement for the be-spectacled comedian. When Lloyd was in New York last . year, he spent a great deal of his time in the lower Bowery. As a result of his observations and intensive study of this picturesque atmosphere, he had a thorough knowle-dge of the conditions under which his characters were to come to life on the screen, when he started filming "For Heaven's Sake!" Jobyna Ralston heads the competc..nt supporting cast, and the production was directed by Sam Taylor. To complete an all-come-dy !,>ill there will he a two-reel comedy "Say Jt With Babies," and a Pathe news reel. "Three Weeks in Paris," the \Varner Bros. classic of the screen, which will be seen Thursday at the Village theatre, concerns the entertaining and rollicking adventures of a shy bridegroom in the wilds of Paris. :Matt Moore is the shy bridegroom and Dorothy Devore the bride. \Villard Louis has one of his best screen characterizations in Gus Billikin s, the obtrusive and jovial best man.
