zz September 17, 1926 WILMETTE LIFE Columbia Music School Begins A~tumn Seaaiona The Wilmette branch of the Columbia School of Music, under the direction of Miss Anna Chinlund and located at 627 Eleventh street, opens this week. Miss Chinlund, who continues her work here after a long period of successful teaching in this community, has received the greater part of her training under Clare Osborne Reed, director of the Columbia school, one of the foremost educators in the United States. An important announcement in connection with the opening of school is that of the consolidation with the Columbia school of the Mary Wood Chase School of Musical Art. Miss Chase has long been known along the north shore, and her school has long stood as one of the foremost institutions of ;ts kind. The branch schools established by her wilt be continued under the present policy. The Wilmette branch is one of a system of city-wide and suburban branches established for the greater convenience of patrons, and in announcing the continuation of Miss Chinlund at Wilmette the school directorate feels that it is conforming to th{' high standard already set in this community. al B·ffalo-wllf excise lax aJJilionlll-'tmns if desifetl buys y_ou this luxurious, hand-built, 5-passenger~ PLEASURE JAUNT TO SCHOOL George Stone of Wilmette, and Leonard Schmitz of Glencoe, left Wednesday to enter Dartmouth college.
