September 17, 1926 W I L M E T T E L I F E· · Fire Causes Heavy Loss at Willison Residence Fire which started in the upper part of the E. C. Willison home at lOll Greenleaf avenue last Friday, shortly before noon, caused damage estimated at $4,000 to the house and contents. According to Chief Walter Zibble of the fire department, a defective chimney was probab.ly the cause of the blaze. The fire spread r<J,pidly and a large portion of the roof was burned. Rev. Leland Hobart Danforth of the Church of the Holy Comforter, Kenilworth, was nearby when the blaze started and organized neighbors into a rescue party which removed furniture which was in danger of being destroyed.
