WILMETTE LIFE July 1, 1927 ············ Alice Ricbley Dyer Is North Shore Line Called by Death June 25 Opens Recreation Mrs. AHce Richley Dyer passed away Sunday, June 26, at her home ·a t 18 East Elm street, Chicago, and .funeral services were held in St. Luke's church, Lee and Hinman avenues, Evanston, Monday. Mrs. Dyer, widow of George Turnley Dyer, vice president of the Pioneer Cooperage .company, was a former well known resident of Wilmette, she and her husband having both been very prominent in local Episcopal church circles. Mrs. Dyer is survived by three children: Mrs. Frederick B. Gellathy of St. Louis, Alice Gertrude Dyer, and George T. Dyer, Jr. A new and unique ser~ice for its patrons and the public in. general has been installed by the Chtcago, North Shore and Milwaukee railroad in cooperation with other public utility companies serving this territory, wtth organization of what is known · as the Outing and Recreation bureau.
