) uly 8, 1927 WILMETTE LIFE 11 ·WILL ENTER REGATTA Sheridan Shore Yacht Club's Fleet to Try Saturday for Place in the International Race· · The Sheridan Shore Yacht club's fleet of Star boats which showed the way to the Columbia Yacht club of Chicago in last Monday's races out of \Vilmette harbor will enter the Chicago Daily Ne\vs Regatta Saturday afternoon. The first two place winners will be sent East to compete in the International Regatta to be held on Karragansett bay, Mass., the latter part of t]le month. · The local boats are granted excellent chances of finishing in one, two order Saturday, judging from the speed they showed in the Fourth of July events. About eight of the twelve Sheridan Shore boats will com pete in the coming races. About 125 boats in all are expected to . start in the various events. Prominent among the local entries are Earl DeMoe in the Dream Star and Dr. William Danforth in the Katy Did.
