This troop under the Jeadershi!) of Frank]. Kreusch, Scoutmaster, and Peter Braun, assistant, was started late thi s spring, receiving its charter about ] une 1. The troop ha:; held many of its meetings out-of-doors and the members have taken several hikes. their favorite place being the Cabinin-the-\Voods, the Scouts' own cabin in the Chewabskokie Forest Preserve west of Glencoe. Four Scouts from Troop 9 attended the first period at Camp Checaugau and one member of the troop is now at the same camp.
