Math Weia Final rites for Mrs. Math Weis, who passed away at the family residence, 206 Central Park avenue, on Friday of last week, were conducted from the St. Joseph church last Monday, Rev. J. A. Neumann officiating. Mrs. Weis had been a resident of the north shore for many years and enjoyed a vast circle of fnends, many of whom gathered with relatives to pay a final tribute to her memory last Friday. Ransom Sherman and Russell Pratt, better known as "Dr. Sherman and Dr. Pratt" of WMAQ fame, will entertain the members of the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce at the next meeting of that organization to be held in the Central cafeteria Monday evening, February 6. This familiar combination· of tuneful song and merry chatter proved such a sensation in an appearance before the Chamber of Commerce a year ago that they were engaged for a return performance. Theater Guild Presents "No. 17" Nest Tuesday . ]. Jefferson Farjeon's play, .. Number 17," will be presented at the Shawnee club Tuesday evening, January 24 , by the North Shore Theater Guild.
