Hecht, 1042 Greenwood avenue, entertained the mothers and teachers of the sixth grade of the Central school, (Miss Scott's room), at a tea Tuesday afternoon, February '1. Fourteen mothers and three teachers were ·present. The discussion was in- · formal and each mother had an opportunity to talk to the teachers about her own individual problem or briug before them any questions she wished answered. These teas sponsored by the CentralLaurel Parent - Teacher association · have brought about a more friendly relation between the mothers and teachers, which is certain to benefit the child. Co-operation between the school and the home is the aim of P. T. A.
