Troop 3, Wilmette Boy Scouts, invites the other Scouts and Girl Scouts of Wilmette to meet with tb~m and enjoy a trip around the world via the film route. The tour will be held in the Wilmette Parish Methodist · church Tuesday evening, April 3. The committee of Troop 3 has arranged with Aubra R. Dunham, son of C. A. Dunham of Glencoe, to give an exhibition of the films he took a$ director of motion picture plays during the University World Cruise which started in September, 1926, lasting until May, 1927, about eight months, through thirty-six foreign countries. Some of these pictures were taken by Mr. Harris, official photographer of the New York Times. the remainder by Mr. Dunham, and all are his own personal collection. Colored slides also will be shown. Five hundred students accompanied by fifty professors with their wives, from the. principal. colleges and univenities of the United States, participated in this "round the world cruise." which was termed "the floating university." Pictures commence at 7 :30, lasting over two hours. Special invitation is given to troop ·committeemen and officers. Reservations for all troops will be made and each Scoutmaster should phone Mr. Matson, Wilmette 756, by Sunday night just how many will attend from his troop. After 7 :25 the doors will be thrown open for others.
