Cardinal Mundelein was present to take part in the ceremony, as were Howard Savage 1 past national commander of the American Legion, and Gen. Paul · B. Malone, of Ft. Sheridan. Troops from Ft. Sheridan and from the Great Lakes Naval Training station attended the dedication. Subscriptions for the memorial were donated by the Polish people of Chicago and suburban villages. Mr. and Mrs. E. Burt Brown, Jr. an~ their children moved last week from their former home at 916 Elmwood avenue, Wilmette, to the house which they have purchased at 1152 Cherry street, W~nnetka. to size.
