Much interest is being shown by merchants in selecting outfits for Wilmette's most popular boy and girl. The Chamber of Commerce promised when the contest was announced that not only were the winners to be royally entertained on Wilmette Day, Augttst 8, but that they also would be completely outfitted ·with clothing for the occasion by Wilmette merchants. It was finally decided by the committee in charge that these costumes should be in the nature of sports-wear, since it will give a "snappy" appearance and will also be appropriate and practical for an outdoor celebration such as \Vilmette Day. Already several · merchants have agreed to contribute· the best their stocks afford to the winners. Two outfits will be necessary, one for the ~--------- winning boy, and one for the winning girl.
