In the hall were decorations of mimosa and candles in cloisonne holders, and the largest of the four tea tables carried out a highly interesting Chinese arrangement with a Buddha centerpiece, jewei trees and chased brass candlesticks, massive and square, placed with the silver service on a cloth of gold moire and runner of Chinese red.
