NEW TRIER SCENE OF at School in Danville BIG FESTIVAL TODAY Eight Suburban High ·Schools Contribute to Programs This Afternoon, Tonight Students representing the music department3 of eight suburban high schools are gathered at 1\ew Trier High school today for a music festiYal this afternoon and evening in which the choruses. orchestras, and bands of all of the schools will take part. The afternoon program is ·3cheduled to begin at 2:15 o'clock and the evening program at 7 o'clock. New Trier, Evanston, DeerfieldShields, Waukegan, Oak Park, Proviso, Morton, and La Grange are the high schools taking part in the music fete. Each will present one of its musical organizations of the afternoon program. Tonight the combined orches'tras, choruse3, and bands will present a program under the direction of George Dasch, Edgar Nelson and Harold Bachman, respectively. Farrar School Musical Groups to Give Concert June 7 · The \Vilmette Grammer school or<;hestra, assisted: by the Stol'p _and Howard schooh Glee clubs, will give its third annual musical program Friday evening, June 7, in the Howard school auditorium. The orchestra and tJ'te glee clubs are anxious to have a large attendance in order that manv may enjoy the fruits of a hard-earned year's work. The proceeds will go towards the purchase of instruments which orche5tra members may use gratis. Tickets for the concert may be obtained from mem hers of the orchestra and the glee clubs.
