The plot is woven around twin sons born to Louis XIII of France. · For state reasons the Cardinal Richelieu orders one babv spirited away before even the proud father knows he has two heirs instead of one. "Speakeasy" Coming Monday The Varsity has announced "Speakeasy" as its attraction for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday , May 27, 28, and 29. "Speakeasy" is a crook film in which a pair of bright newcomers, Lola Lane and Paul Page, are featured. Crooks, fighters. and reporters ha,·e prominent parts in the tale, whose locale is New York Cit,·. It is the old story of 'the bright young prize fighter surrounded by crooked handlers, hot song singers, and bottles of rum-of the pretty girl reporter who is all broke1_ 1 out with faith in him, and who turns up at the ringside of his comehack bout just in time to so arouse his anger as to enable him to knock out the champion.
