Mrs. George Steffens of Illinois road entertained sixteen small friends of her daughter, Lorraine, from 2 to 4 o'clock last Saturday. The occasion was Lorraine's sixth birthday. N. T. Palmer Pictures in Shawnee Club Exhibit Cagers Will.Meet Two of Pauline Palmer's loveliest Fenger Saturday paintings are among showings that New Trier High school's heavyweight basketball team will make its first app~arance of .the season this Saturday n1g.ht when It meets Fenger High of Chtcago at the New Trier gymnasium. Capt. Carleton Schroeder, playing a guard position, will lead the New Trier cagers against a team which has already engaged in several contests this year. With the exception of Schroeder who is a veteran of last year, the north shore heavyweights are comparatively "green." Coach Clyde Grater announced this week that the starting lineup probably will be: Marshall Ling and Clayton Paulson, forwards; Richard Schuettge, center, and Tom Hici<s and Schroeder, guards. New Trier's lightweight team, which made an impressive showing against Senn High of Chicago last Saturdav will play the Fenger lightwe·ights. Last year the New Trier lightweights were champions of the Suburban league.
