Expands Motion Picture Program Several north shore residents, who make a practice of taking their families to the movies on Saturday night, have experienced difficulty in locating pictures they care to sec. Their app~eciatiot' of the care and time spent by Winnetka Community House in selecting films has lead them to suggest that regular Saturday performances be instituted at Community House. In acceding to these requests, Communitv House announces that, begmning in January_, motion pictures will be offered every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, with matinees _at 4 o'clock (Saturday 2 :30) and evemng performances continuous from 7:15. "Communitv House picture programs," statc.s Burton H. Atwood, Jr., director of motion pictures there for the past ten years, "are essentially for adults hut many pictures of interest to children arc shown. Of the five hundred feature film produced annually only the best are exhibited in \\'innctka. To maintain this standard of excellence four out of even· five pitures arc rrjected." On January 7, Community H~use reopens regular Tuesday perfornnnces with l~cginald Denny in "One Hysterical Night." Denny needs no introduction tG \\ innetka optiences, being well kno\vn for his clever, humorous, clean comedies . "One Hysterical ~ight" is one of the funniest funny pictures to reach the crecn. The "·hole thing is based on a masquerade party at which Denny is disguised as ~apoleon. \\"ord is passed around that the hero really believes he is Xapoleon resulting in an amazing series of incidents in which the guests plot against him. Mae Tinee gave this picture three stars. ARB YOU SATISFIED with just "any movie" or DO YOU 1VAMT THE BEST! Over 500 pictures are produced annually. Community House rejects four out of five.
