Clair S. McCalister, formerly of Wilmette, died Sunday in his home in Oakland, Cal. Mr. McAlister lived in Wilmette for about 25 years before moving to Oakland six years ago. Born in Logan, Utah, he retired in 1954 as president of the American Perforator Co. in Chicago. While in Wilmette, he was a member of the Chicago Rotary Club. He is survived by his wife Dilate, a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Gates, a son Jack and three grandchildren. Services and burial were Wednesday in Oakland.
