Rachel Shattuck and Josie Vodden were united in civil union on April 28, 2012, at the McHenry County courthouse. Rachel is the daughter of Gene Shattuck and Betty Shattuck of Elgin. Josie is the daughter of Bill Vodden and Connie Farris of DeKalb. They celebrated with family and friends at a garden party reception on Saturday, June 30, in Dundee. The couple resides in Crystal Lake
