Mrs. Magdalena Maurer, 80, of 1032 Cherokee Rd., Wilmette, died Jan. 23 at Evanston Hospital. A native of Germany, Mrs. Maurer was a member of St. Joseph's Church Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marie Schoeder of Wilmette; two sons, George in Wilmette, and Michale. Funeral mass was said Monday at St. Joseph's. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
