Second Annual Ex.hibit of Miniature: Etchings being held during the month of November in the Club Womfari'S bureau at Mandel Brothers. by the Chicago Society of Etchers. Two hundred and eighteen--prints, including al tpsof etching, -no :,print,'being:larged -than- treby fiýe inchesi,compose the exhibit. Seven foreigri countrieS are represented-AuStria, Eng- land, France, 1.ndia, China, Czechoslovakia and * Swvitzrland-as .well as, work by some ofi the best etching artists in twenty-seven states in this.coÜntry. Theso ciety was organized twenty-sevefl years ago to promote interest in the graphie Arts, and has held annual shows ever since. The Plan-for an exhibit of miniature etchings originated last year, and was so successful that a second was scheduled for this year, Mr. Hobbs is showing a* series of four p'rints. 'Sprmng," "Summer," "Autumn" and "Winter"; Mr. Philbrick the same number under the titles "By the Lake" "Down in Mairne," "Coodbye" and ."The Bridge."
