- Veronica Armstrong, 53, of Crystal Lake, died October 15, 2013 at JourneyCare of Woodstock. She was born January 2, 1960 in Chicago to Leroy and Ruth Zelske. She was the mother of Amanda Armstrong-Zhao. She was the wife of Robert Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Jim Zelske. She is survived by her husband, daughter, mother, and sisters, Leona Cushman and Rene Zelske.
