- Penny L. Hefner, 70, of Woodstock, died on February 26, 2014. She was born on September 6, 1943 in Woodstock to Eugene R. and Frances B. (Bird) Kuhn. She married Roger W. Hefner on February 18, 1966 in Rockford. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Idstein; grandson, James J. (Joanne) Rich; great granddaughters, Lilly Rich and Juliette Rich; two brothers, Steven (Jan) Kuhn and Tom Kuhn; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years; and an infant brother, Richard Kuhn. Internment will be private in Missouri.
