The striking miners have absolutely refused to work the mines until their terms are accepted by the government and the operators. IF YOU HAVE A TON OR MORE OF COAL ON HAND DO NOT ORDER MORE AS UNDER GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS WE CANNOT DELIVER The fuel regulations are more drastic than any which war conditions forced upon us. There is only fort' per cent of the normal daily con~ sumption 0 coal being mined and the railroads are using a big percentage of this leaving hut lit- tle for the running of industries, the heating of homes. the use of public utilities companies, etc. The coal situation is critical. We would ad- irise peo )le to conserve the sup 1y they may have on han as long as they can. uring this critical We are trying to so distribute the little coal we are able to et into our bins as thinly over the village as possi. le so that no one need suffer.
