THE SHERIDAN ROAD NEWSLETTER. been our eameat endeavor to keep liquor and other objectionable ad- vertisements out of our columns, and in all ways to make it a fit paper for any home. We have also been very particular to not allow its columns to 'be used as a vent for. personal spleen, and any- thing that may have appeared in that light was not sanctioned by the management We wish to thank the merchants and others of Highland Park who have so liberally patronized us with advertising and job work. Of course it is to those who have assisted ’in this way , that the 'credit_ is largely due for tho im- provements in the paper. “Nothing succeeds like suc- oess,”is an old saying, and we have found this exceptionally true in our business here. 'The busi- ness end of this ofioe has been phenomonally_ successful, and al- thnugh we have spent hundreds (if dollars in presses, motors, printing material and other im- provements, we hive still been able to liquidate all our business agreements. .
