In, the light of logic we cannot sustain it! In the light of Love we cannot tolerate it and our whole heart leaps in joy at the glad consciousness that He neither created sin nor its ultimate, death. Christian Scientists are often con~ demned because they.refer to disease as sin, but are they not clinging close to the Scriptures in doing so? People accept it as a universal law that disease is the natural and necessary forerunner of death. The Scriptures teach us. death is the wages bf sin! Then in harmony with the Scriptures nothing can cause death but sin, and the teaching of Chris- tian Science relative to death is simply corrghofative of the_Bihle teaching we look for the origin of the belief in death and sin save in the mortal conâ€" sciousness? Every thought emanating from Mind or God must be either infinitely good or infinite- ly bad. There can be no dispute on this point, for one is the antithesis of the other, henoe all reality must be either ,absolute good or absolute bad, without qualification. * For the illustration of this point let us imagine all the white lead in the World gathered into one vast lake where it lies absolutely pure and unsullied. Take a pin, dip it into a bottle of ink, and sink this ink-covered point into the white lcarl. Mix in just that little speck of blackness: will the lead ever be absolutely pure white again?
