The evening was made very interesting by election returns which came over a special wire installed at the club house. Mr. and Mrs. S. Tuesday evening at their home on Waverly Ave. Rev. and Mrs. Van Evera of Chiâ€" cago. formerly of this city. entertain- ed a number of their friends at a six oclock dinner Thursday .evening. Olive and Faith Haefle and Pearl Arnold Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Bletsch of‘ Moraine Road. entertained a large; party of young people at their home.i Friday evening in honor of their son] William and his bride. Miss Lillian’ Marie Josephine Schueler. whose wedding took place October 26th at Covington. Kentucky. The decora- xions troughout the house were as combination of pink roses and ferns? while the dancing room was beau-1 tiful in autumn foliage.
