,. 15D 6...»??? 214A. The annual children's carnival which is given under the auspices of the Ravlnia Club was held last Thursday afternoon at Ravinia Park. The parade which was led by Mr. Hyatt of New Trier and which was the main feature of the afternoon commenced at two o'clock on the athletic field with nearly a thousand children participating in it. Most of the kiddies came in costume making the aflair most attractive. There were Indians. Japanese. Turkish and Span- ish as well as Red Cross Nurses. Soldiers and sailors represented. Then too came the old fashioned girl. Little Bo-Peep. fairies and Puritan ladies. Music was furnished by the Gienwood and Aliandale Beys' Bands. The drill given by the Glencoe Jun- ior Home Guards Was certainly a great credit to the boys and their in- structors. All of the North Shore towns were well represented. During the intermission the Misses Hahn and Joan Pierce displayed some very ar- tistic dancing after which the child- ren returned to the athletic field where games were enjoyed. Every Thursday there will be games of varâ€" ious kinds arranged for the children to play during the intermission. on the athletic field. Mr. and Mrs. William Booth of N.
