Age 91; resident of Memphis TN since 2009; born in Highland Park MI to George and Harriet (nee Hammelef) Everson; grew up in Detroit and Grosse Point; graduated from Grosse Point H.S. in 1941 and U. of Michigan in 1945 with Bachelor's degree in American History; taught junior high school before marriage in 1947 at St. Peter's Danish Lutheran Church in Detroit; lived in Chicago and Glenview IL, Connecticut, Michigan and Florida; active in PTA, church groups, substitute teaching, reading, playing bridge and solving puzzles; preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jerry in 2005, a brother, Richard G.
