Age 93; resident of Freedom Village in Bradenton FL, formerly of Chicago area; born on 200-acre family farm in Livingston County IL between Cropsey and Fairbury; graduated from Cropsey H.S. in 1936 and Illinois State U. in 1940; worked briefly for Funk Brothers; drafted into horse Calvalry of U.S. Army, June 25, 1941; worked at First Federal Bank of Chicago, Aetna Bank, retired as VP from Glenview State Bank, all in Illinois; married 1st wife in Los Angeles August 7, 1944, 2nd wife July 27, 1985; preceded in death by 1st wife, Jane in June 2, 1978, a two brothers, Wayne (Bernice) and Gene (Patricia) and two sisters, Emma Louise (Maurice) McGill and Beulah (Stanley) Barnes
