Survived by: his wife, Harriet Harris of Tucson, AZ; a son, Samuel R. of Northbrook; and a daughter, Susan Thompson of Highland Park. 2 Brothers: Lawrence Harris and Jerry Harris, 2 Sisters: Sylvia Schwartz and Vita Hirsch, and 8 Grandchildren
Dr. Ellis Harris was 75 years old. Burial was private. He served in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant commander during World War II. A memorial service was hled in Tucson.
