Age 87; Jesuit teacher, counselor, alumni director and alumni chaplain at Loyola Academy in Wilmette IL for 54 years, died at the Colombiere Jesuit Community in Clarkston MI; youngest of 10 children, born in Bourbonnais; graduated from a Jesuit residential high school, Campion Academy in Prairie du Chien WI and entered the Jesuit novitiate; bachelor's from Mt. St. Michael's Institute (part of Gonzaga U. in Spokana WA) and master's in biology from U. of Detroit; ordained to priesthood in 1938, began his longterm career teaching French at Loyola Academy in 1940
