Age 18; resident of unincorporated Glenview IL; victim of an unsolved brutal murder outside her home; a popular high school senior stabbed to death as she tried to enter her front door; a man long suspected of the crime is being investigated by California authorities in similar stabbing deaths; Michael Thomas Gargiulo lived one street away from Pacaccio and was her former Glenbrook South classmate; July 6, 2011 Gargiulo, age 35, who is incarcerated in California awaiting trial for two killings and attempted murder, officially charged with first-degree murder of Pacaccio; arrest resulted from Gargiulo telling two men he worked with in California that he had stabbed a girl in Chicago to death and left her dead on the steps to her home - Date of Publication
