Age 93; passed away at the Vi in Glenview IL; born in Chicago to Helen Abbott and Otto Coffeen Fitz Randolph, oldest of five children; grew up in Chicago and Des Moines IA; bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1948 from U. of Illinois, following service in Corps of Engineers on Leyte in Philippines during WWII; married in Champaign on July 2, 1949; raised five children in Morton Grove and Wilmette; founded infrastructure throughout northern Illinois; active with American Legion Post 134 and Lions Club in Morton Grove; leadership positions with Boy Scout Troop 70, Morton Grove and Troop 9, Wilmette, father of four Eagle Scouts; Funeral Service on December 10, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette - Date of Publication
