Survived by: a daughter, Audrey Klein of Northbrook; a son, Roger M. Sherman of Palatine; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Esther Lee Sherman of Glenview, age 85, was a longtime resident of Evanston and Wilmette who died at Maryhaven, Inc. Glenview. She was the wife of the late Roger A. Sherman, a lieutenant with the Wilmette Police Department for 20 years before he retired in 1957. The Rev. James Steiner officiated at services at the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette.
