Age 92; resident of Shawano IL; born in Cleator Moor, England to John and Emily (nee Vincent) Tembey; age 4 moved with family to Carbondale PA; graduated in 1939 from Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton PA and from Keystone Jr. College in 1942; September 1944 joined U.S. Army, served as Assistant Director of Cadet Nurse Corp., discharged July 1946; married on June 1, 1946 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bethlehem PA; moved to Champaign IL; 1948 moved to Glenview IL, worked for eye physician and for Health Department, founding member of Glenview Visiting Nurse Association; moved to Shawano area, became members of Zion Lutheran Church, active with Health Care Ministry, Friendly Visitors and Dorcas Circle; member of Shawano Women's Club; enjoyed reading, cooking, bridge and travel; preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary
