Died in Seattle WA. Born in Rensselaer IN to William and Stella (Jacobs) Traub. Moved to St. Louis MO at age 9. Graduate of Harris Teachers College; taught at Washington University Central Institute for Deaf. Moved to Chicago and then Evanston IL after marriage. Active in Beth Emet Synagogue and National Council of Jewish Women. Taught hearing-impaired children in Evanston public schools, retiring at age 78. Earned M.A. in linguistics from Northeastern at age 71.
