Lang of Grayslske made an outstanding sale of light steers at the :Chicago market June 1 when he cashed a fancy shipment of his on feeding at $10.36 per hundred, top of the trade and highest price paid for yearlings in some weeks. There were 15 head in the shipment which averag- ed 1060 pounds. and were as sleek as show steers, They were Western branded Hereford, which had been bought at the same market in Sep- tember and after light graining for several weeks went on feed. They nearly doubled, their weight in the eight months of feeding.
