Stock, conductor of the Chicago Symphony orchestra, will be one of the judges in the band conâ€" cert contest which will decide just what musical organization will be given the right to call itself the Chiâ€" cago World‘s Fair Symphony band, it was announced today. ~ Walter A. Strong, publisher of The Daily News, has agreed to pay for five of the concerts, which will cost approximately $1,000 each. The other concerts will be paid for by popular funds.
